Gender affirming care is a patient-centered health plan that helps align physical and mental conditions to align with a patient's gender identity. This is a harmless field of medicine that has been statistically proven to be very beneficial to patients that have been questioning their gender identity. The treatment consists of puberty blockers, gender reassignment surgery, therapy, and overall providing a safe place for those undergoing treatment to have support and be respected for their decision to transition.
